When Hannes Smith starts playing his live performances, it's like somebody shoots love and passion all over the dancefloor.
For more than ten years now, Hannes has spread his music from Montreal over Rekjavik to Basel with no plans of slowing down.
Some call Hannes a dancefloor romanticist who has been residing in Berlin for some time now.
Hannes draws a lot of influences from the everything around him, so living in Reykjavik and Berlin has greatly influenced
his music. However, this guy can't be easily classified: Hannes Smith makes music for the moment and for eternity, for
indoors and for open air, for the soul and for the dancefloor, for you and for me. Along with releases on Etoka Records,
ProgCity Deep Trax and Vekton Musik he has also been working on his very own release "Herzsprung EP", which he published
himself in January 2012.
With his big tunes "19810" and "Mimi", Hannes had already played himself into the hearts of his permanently growing fanbase.
After playing alongside Robag Whrume, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Manamana, AKA AKA and the tour support of icelandic band
Bloodgroup he now does a break focusing to finish his debut album, which release is planned for late 2012.
